![]() If you want breakfast, go to IHOP or the Waffle House. While I am glad that I ate at the restaurant, I was unimpressed with their food and the restaurant as a whole. My entire party spent the rest of the day extremely thirsty. The portions were generous, but all of the items were very dry and salty. We gritted our teeth and tried it, but none of us changed our orders to her dismay. She insisted that we try their grits and brought us all grits in small sauce cups. ![]() She asked us if we had ever tried their grits we all responded no, but explained to her that we did not like grits in general. When we finally placed our orders and decided to substitute our "creamy, dreamy grits" for other items- which you are allowed to do by the way- our waitress seemed offended. While there were many choices, many of them were unappealing. One side of the menu was for breakfast, which is served all day, and the other side of the menu was for lunch. A waitress came over almost immediately to take our drink orders. A server quickly greeted us, and sat us at a table. ![]() When I first walked into the restaurant, I noticed row upon row of tables. For this reason, parking is limited and during lunch and dinner hours, finding parking can be frustrating. The Roswell Flying Biscuit is located in a shopping center with several other restaurants. She did bring my partner the bacon ordered after bringing it to her attention, but again, it was like mine.had been cooked in advance and simply reheated.For years I have heard people talk about how great the Flying Biscuit was, and after discovering that one was located in Roswell, I decided to invite my brother and husband to join me for lunch there. She forgot to offer a refill on my tea but she was nice and did a pretty good job. There are several other breakfast places close by so I doubt we will be back. The Flying Biscuit Cafe in Memorial City is a horrible place for culturally diverse, motivated and skilled staff to be. My partner's plate came with overcooked scrambled eggs that were rubber, two meat alternative sausage patties, reheated dry out potatoes but the grits were okay. It was old and reheated and just a gummy mess. My bacon had been cooked earlier and then just reheated and my biscuit was uneatable. I ordered bacon and a biscuit and my partner ordered the two egg breakfast with crisp pork bacon, 2 eggs over medium and 1/2 grits and 1/2 potatoes. With Covid we stopped eating out but yesterday decided to go out to breakfast and chose Flying Biscuit based on past memories. This is the first time in several years we have been back to Flying Biscuit in Roswell.
